About

Pinch Point is an independent production company founded by award-winning filmmakers Cameron Perry and Sam Briggs.

A place where a road becomes narrow, Pinch Points often spark political calls to action, as well as being a scriptwriting term referring to turning points in narrative film scripts.

Pinch Point was born following the success of its founder’s inaugural short film, WHEN THE CLAPPING STOPS. The film won Gold at the 1.4 Awards, received an Official Selection at the BAFTA-qualifying Bolton International Film Festival, and picked up the prize for Best Young Filmmaker at BIFA-qualifying Wimbledon Film Festival. Starring Holby City’s Miles Mitchell, When The Clapping Stops was based around Sam’s previous experiences as a Care Worker and helped form Pinch Point’s ethos of creating films with stories bigger than the runtime.

Having developed a passion for socially conscious filmmaking, Cam and Sam regularly work with charities to produce promotional and informational videos.

Our next projects, JUNGLE and ALL THAT FAITH, are currently in development.
